Plant Nursery

EYA youth pour kindness, curiosity, and love into growing thousands of native plants in our Downtown Eastside nursery each year. These plants are gifted to schools and community groups and support our annual spring fundraiser.

Plant Gifts to Community

Native plants grown by EYA youth are gifted to local schools and community groups in East Vancouver and Indigenous- and Black-led groups across the Lower Mainland to support wildlife habitat and plant medicine projects. To be notified when requests open in the spring, please contact us.

Our youth-grown plants are also offered to the community through an annual spring fundraiser. Take home a bundle of youth-grown native plants for your backyard or balcony while supporting our land-based education youth programs. To be notified about the fundraiser, sign up for our email list.
