Any amount donated over the minimum donation amount is tax-deductible. For example, if you donate $100 for a Garden Bundle, you’ll receive a tax receipt for $50. We will follow up by email to issue you your tax receipt.

Most plants will come in a 4-inch pot.

Each bundle is designed for a specific garden type and level of sun exposure. This document shows growing needs for the plants available.

Unfortunately due to limited capacity we’re unable to take requests for custom bundles.

As our nursery stock is limited, bundles are limited to one per person.

You can collect your bundle during pre-arranged time slots in early May. Bundles are collected from Strathcona Community Gardens.

Our nursery is located within the Japanese beetle restriction zone. We are in compliance with CFIA regulation to prevent spread. As a precaution we are required to record the address(es) of the final destination of each individual plant.

Each year, EYA empowers over 600 youth from equity-deserving communities to become environmental stewards through free land-based education and paid employment training programs. Your donation will help us to cover the cost of running these programs.

Native plants are adapted to the local environment. As a result they often don’t need fertilizers and are adapted to wet winters and dryer summers. They also play an important role in providing food and shelter for local wildlife, and native pollinators rely on them as a food source.
