Support an equitable and sustainable future!

We’re on a mission to build a more equitable and sustainable future, and need your support to help us raise $20,000 before the end of the year.

Dear Community,

An EYA youth said something recently that really stuck with me:

“Now I believe in myself and realize that I have the ability to help the environment. I’m more confident and feel accomplished for helping restore some of the land that we live on.”

To me, this highlights the intersection of social and environmental justice.

Youth who experience oppression are often the most impacted by environmental crises like climate change and should be leading environmental advocacy – but often face the most barriers to developing the skills and confidence to pursue environmental careers.

Climate solutions need diverse voices – and the youth in our programs bring so many lived experiences, cultural teachings, and inspiring new ideas to the table.

To make our programs accessible to youth facing barriers, EYA’s programs are trauma-informed. That means prioritizing relationships, peer connections, and paying youth for their contributions.

Healing the land begins with healing ourselves.

None of this would be possible without the hundreds of generous community supporters who keep us going. Will you join them with a gift of $50, $200, or whatever you can afford?

Your support will help us engage youth facing barriers to lead the transition to a more equitable and sustainable future.
