UPDATE January, 2021: Thanks to our wonderful supporters we raised $28,000 to support our environmental education programs and equitable access to nature. Thank you!

UPDATE November 20, 2020: One of our supporters has made us an incredibly generous offer: every dollar donated between now and December 31 will be doubled, up to $10,000!

It’s been a tough year. With climate fires raging along the West Coast and many plants and animals struggling to survive, it’s no wonder so many of us are feeling anxious about the future.

More than ever before, we urgently need young environmental leaders to tackle these crises and heal our relationship with the land. And with over 75 eligible youth waitlisted for our 2020 programs, we know the youth are ready!

To meet this growing demand, we’ll be rolling out 25 environmental education and job training programs engaging youth targeted by systemic marginalization over the coming year.

But we can’t do it without you! Will you help us raise $25,000 this giving season to scale up our programs in 2021?

Your support today means that 200 local youth will develop practical skills in land stewardship and restoration while learning to treat nature with respect and reciprocity.

“I learned to respect, preserve, love and care for nature. Learning about plants has made me feel more a part of nature than just an observer and having a name for them makes me feel more connected to them.” – Justin, age 16

While the pandemic has stolen headlines this year, the collapse of the Earth’s ecological systems continues to weigh heavy on our minds and hearts. If you’re able, please consider making an annual donation so EYA youth can be part of the solution.

Thank you for your support!

Emily

Executive Director, Environmental Youth Alliance
