Sign up Today for our Fall Seed Generation Youth Program!
From October to December, EYA and Red Fox Healthy Living Society have teamed up to bring like-minded youth ages 14 to 18 together for a unique volunteer experience between July 2019 and September 2019. The Seed Generation Youth Program will provide hands-on experiences creating wildlife habitat and establishing an Indigenous foodscape garden in Cottonwood Community Gardens. Participants will earn a certificate of completion for their 120 Community Service Hours over the 3-month period, and will experience an urban and wilderness camping trip!
Youth will design a permanent Art Installation for the Garden, connect with knowledge keepers and Elders, and learn about decolonization and Indigenous cultures and histories.
