Wild Mind School Workshops

In 2017-18, EYA will offer dozens of classroom workshops (primarily for middle and high-school-aged youth) using our newly-developed Wild Mind curriculum.

Through hands-on activities, youth will learn about planting and maintaining biodiverse wildlife gardens, stewarding native plants, insect anatomy, citizen science and wildlife monitoring, seed biology and germination testing, wildlife drawing, decomposition and matter cycling, bioaccumulation, and the physical and mental benefits of nature.

We hope to expand these workshops into a larger-scale school program in Fall 2018.
